Community Involvement

In the midst of a disaster, houses of worship are usually looked to as a saving grace. You have the opportunity to be a relief to those who have been affected by a life-changing event. In this section, we’ve provided the resources needed for your house of worship to be trained in different areas of disaster relief.

Many denominations and organizations have a specialization in the disaster relief world. You have the opportunity to plug into one or more of these services and contribute to disaster relief in your community.

Below is a chart containing services and the different organizations that provide them. Find a service that your house of worship would be interested in participating in and start working towards being able to provide that service or services to your community.
