A lifelong resident of Tattnall County, Kyle Sapp possesses over 33 years of public service experience. He began his career in law enforcement with the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office in 1986 before joining the Georgia State Patrol.  Kyle was a graduate of the 65th Georgia State Patrol Trooper School and spent the next 28 years serving in various capacities with the department. After retiring from the Georgia State Patrol, Kyle was elected as Sheriff of Tattnall County in 2017 and in this capacity, he has continued to demonstrate his dedication to the citizens of Tattnall County and our great state.  Kyle is very active in his community and currently serves on the Canoochee EMC Foundation Board and the Crisis Intervention Team Advisory Board.  He is a life member and Past President of the Peace Officers’ Association of Georgia. Kyle and his wife Gloria have three children and reside in Collins, Georgia.
