Reasonable Modifications and Effective Communication

Individuals with disabilities may request reasonable modifications, auxiliary aids or services when necessary to participate in or receive the benefits of GEMA/HS programs, services or activities.

GEMA/HS will provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services, when necessary, to ensure effective communication with qualified individuals with disabilities, consistent with the requirements of the ADA.

Requests should be made as early as possible to allow GEMA/HS sufficient time to make appropriate arrangements. GEMA/HS will not charge an individual with a disability for the cost of providing reasonable modifications, auxiliary aids or services necessary to provide access.
