FIFA World Cup Grant Program

The FIFA World Cup Grant Program (FWCGP), administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Grant Programs Directorate (GPD), provides federal funding to enhance security and preparedness for the 2026 FIFA World Cup events in the United States. The FWCGP will make funds available to the Atlanta Host City Committee Task Force through the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS). Key Dates

The application period runs from November 13, 2025 - November 25, 2025.

The application period will close on November 25, 2025.

GEMA/HS expects notification of award no later than January 30, 2026.

General projected state-level period of performance (POP) is July 4, 2025 – August 31, 2026.
