(ATLANTA) – The FirstNet Engagement Workshop will provide a hands-on opportunity for your agency to engage with the First Responder Network Authority to analyze how the network's products and services can support your mission, communications capabilities, and operational protocols. The purpose of this workshop includes:

  • Increasing awareness and providing updates on FirstNet's capabilities, programs, and services
  • Increasing agency awareness of current and future data usage, broadband needs, and potential for enhanced operations
  • Providing FirstNet relevant Use Cases to inform greater advocacy for public safety's needs
  • Identifying relevant public safety needs that inform future investment by FirstNet

The Georgia Emergency Communications Authority (GECA) leadership will provide updates on some of their ongoing projects. The workshop will also include an update from AT&T FirstNet on the momentum and current status of the FirstNet buildout.
