Severe Weather March 2021
Governor Brian Kemp declared a State of Emergency on March 26, 2021 to deploy state assistance due to tornado and severe storm damage. The Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency is actively monitoring the severe weather event and is coordinating with our state, local, federal, as well as public and private sector partners to position resources around the state.
American Red Cross
Anyone impacted by the tornadoes who needs sheltering or feeding can reach out to the American Red Cross at 800-733-2767.
Crisis Cleanup Hotline
A Home Cleanup Hotline is now open to support survivors of the tornadoes in Georgia. Impacted homeowners can call Crisis Clean Up at 470-226-3992 to request assistance from vetted nonprofit and faith-based organizations until April 16, 2021.
You do not need to call the hotline if you have already provided your contact information and clean-up needs to a representative of Inspiritus/Coweta County Emergency Management Agency during a home visit and assessment.
